I am a 2014 graduate from Sardar Patel Institute of Technology - Mumbai with my B.E in Information Technology.

Passionate about coding and learning new technologies and frameworks.

An avid reader who is always trying to learn concepts and best practices which should be followed while programming.

Developing new things is what i like.I strongly believe in solving the problem first and then writing the code for it.

I am a javscript developer and I have been experimenting with React and Redux recently and would be very excited about working with React and Redux.I do have Angular JS and Backbone experience as well.

Hotstar.com

  • Migrating Angular 1.5 Codebase to React and Alt architecture along with Server Side Rendering support.
  • Reducing bunde size of Hotstar.com website for better web performance and better caching.
  • Integrating mixpanel analytics tracking for our web platform build on angular 1.5.
  • Researching on offline video storage and creating a PWA for hotstar.com.

Dec 2015 - Jan 2017

Craftsvilla.com

  • Optimized the page load time of craftsvilla.com from 5 secs to 1.2 secs and improved the Page Speed Insights score from 20 to 70/100 for the category and product pages.
  • Improved response time to 1/5th by serving Product page and Search Page using Python Flask and Jinja templates instead of Magento
  • Redesigned the entire website and wrote custom javascript libraries specific to Craftsvilla environment and automated builds using gulp and webpack.
  • Took Session’s on React and Redux for the front end team.

Housing.com

  • Contributing towards enhancing UX of housing.com website. Working as the front-end developer, I was responsible for managing the website and introducing new features for the website.
  • Introduced a new feature to our Product – Routing, which helps you search for a house based on commute time or on-road distance from a specific establishment (workplace, school, railway station, hospital, etc.) which saw an almost 90% increase in conversions.
  • Migrating few of the backbone files to React Js and developing an internal panel completely in React.
  • Reducing the load time, enhancing user interface and the user experience of the housing.com website.
  • Technologies used: ES6, backbone, React Js, Webpack, Coffeescript, Haml.
